First Responders Blood Drive

The Mount Dora Police and Fire Departments are hosting a First Responders Blood Drive on July 25, 2018.

Mount Dora Police and Firefighters, along with One Blood, are urging citizens to come out to the Public Safety Building on Wednesday, July 25th to donate blood.  Police and firefighters work hard to save lives and citizens can save lives with a blood donation.

Someone needs blood every two seconds in the United States and along with saving someone else’s life, donors receive the benefits of donating such as keeping your heart healthy, reducing the risk of cancer, and even burning 650 calories with just one donation!

The One Blood bus will be parked in front of the Police Department until 8 p.m.  Media are welcome.

For more information, contact Officer Ivy Severance at or One Blood at 1-888-9DONATE.
