Investigative Services Bureau

The Investigative Services Bureau is made up of the Criminal Investigation Division, the Special Operations Division, the Communications Unit, the Records Unit and the Code Enforcement Unit.

The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) investigates property and person crimes such as:

  • Thefts
  • Burglaries
  • Frauds
  • Forgeries
  • Vehicle thefts
  • Assaults
  • Robberies
  • Stalking
  • Domestic violence
  • Homicide
  • Missing persons and juveniles

The Special Operations Division (SOD) addresses complaints of public nuisances on properties where there are drug or prostitution related offense.  The SOD also collaborates with other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to enforce illegal activities and prevent crimes from occurring.
